Biospecimen/Biological Data Access Request

The request for sample/data access to be used in scientific studies must first be sent to the address biyobanka@acibadem.edu.tr by filling out the ACU Biobank Biological Sample/Data Access Application Form, etogether with the ethics committee acceptance letter for the relevant study. Then, the request, which is registered, is first evaluated by the Scientific Advisory Board of ACU Biobank. The result of the preliminary evaluation is declared to the applicant within 3 working days in the form of acceptance or rejection information. The approval process of the study is carried out by the Administrative Board of the ACU Biobank. The Biological Sample/Data Transfer Agreement and the ACU Biobank Biological Sample/Data Delivery Form, containing the information about the requested sample/data amount, characteristics, etc. will be send via e-mail to researchers, whose biological sample/data access request is accepted. Finally, the samples/data prepared in accordance with the requested biological sample/data access are delivered to the researcher with thea ACU Biobank Biological Sample/Data Delivery Form, in line with the desired specifications.
