Acıbadem University has two fully equipped Training and Research Hospitals, Atakent and Maslak. Our students receive their clinical education and internships here starting from their 4th year.
Our faculty, which has a strong academic staff, aims to educate students at the highest professional standards by equipping them with scientific knowledge, practical skills, and behavioral competencies across various fields, while also fostering a high level of scientific curiosity alongside the ability to provide high-quality healthcare services. The language of instruction at our faculty is English, and the education program is structured in three phases: Basic and Clinical Sciences, Clinical Clerkships, and the Internship.
In our program, which is based on an integrated curriculum, course boards cover the human body as a whole — from the simplest units such as cells to complex systems and their pathologies. In addition, the Professional and Clinical Skills program, which serves as an introduction to medical professionalism, helps students acquire the necessary knowledge and skills required in the practice of medicine. This program is enriched with communication skills training that facilitates student encounters with real patients during the clinical phase, as well as field training in family health centers, and also supports the development of intellectual competencies and humanistic values.
During the 4th and 5th years of medical school, students participate in Clinical Clerkships where they directly engage with both outpatient and inpatient cases in a hospital setting, thereby improving their clinical knowledge and skills. In the Internship phase, students practice medicine for one full year under the supervision of faculty members both in hospitals and in the field, allowing them to comprehensively and effectively apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired throughout their medical education.
