Strategic Plan of Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine (2022–2026) was reviewed and approved at the Faculty Board meeting held on 28 April 2022 and subsequently updated at the Faculty Board meeting dated 12 December 2024.
Structured under the headings of education, research, community service, social responsibilities, and collaborations and stakeholder relations, the Strategic Plan aims to increase and ensure the sustainability of practices recognized as exemplary in accreditation processes, to educate competent physicians in line with national and international standards, to strengthen a student-centered education approach, and to expand the clinical training network.
In the field of research, the plan seeks to support students’ active participation in research projects, to train physicians with strong scientific production capacity through the MD-PhD program, to encourage interdisciplinary innovative research, and to become an internationally recognized research center.
Within the scope of community service, it is envisaged to strengthen educational activities through social responsibility projects, to implement projects addressing the priority needs of society, and to expand initiatives that enhance public trust. In terms of social responsibilities, the plan aims to support the professional development of academic and administrative staff, to conduct development-oriented evaluations through transparent and fair performance criteria, and to carry out planned development initiatives addressing staffing needs. Under collaborations and stakeholder relations, it aims to increase the participation of students and academics in international exchange programs, expand existing partnerships with national and international education and research institutions, and develop new collaborations.
