We began medical education at Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine in 2009 at the Gülsuyu Campus in Istanbul and graduated our first students in 2015.

The first building of Acıbadem University was located in Istanbul, Gülsuyu.
In 2017, we continued our educational activities at the Kerem Aydınlar Campus in Ataşehir, Istanbul, which has 100,000 square meters of indoor space, is equipped with advanced technology, and holds the LEED Gold (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification. Since then, we have graduated approximately 80 students each year. Our graduates continue their careers in various regions of the country and the world, working in clinical practice, research, or both clinical and research fields.

The goal of Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine is to educate universal physicians who are aware of their social responsibilities; curious, research-oriented, and committed to lifelong learning; proficient in technology; and who have internalized ethical principles and human rights. In line with this goal, an educational program that is accredited through external evaluations and open to continuous development is implemented, focusing on the priority health problems and needs of society and embracing social accountability. In addition, the university’s well-equipped research infrastructure and opportunities to work with highly qualified scientists ensure that students are trained with strong scientific competence. The MD-PhD program, integrated into education since 2024, offers an additional pathway for students who aspire to become physician-scientists.
By fulfilling its social and societal responsibilities at the highest level, Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine continues its journey with the vision of becoming one of the best medical schools in Turkey and one of the leading medical schools in the world.
