Our Faculty Members are on the list of the World’s Most Influential Scientists

The "World's Most Influential Scientists List-2022," conducted annually by Stanford University scientists, has been published by Elsevier, a Netherlands-based publishing company specializing in scientific, technical, and medical content. The ranking was categorized into two sections: "Lifetime Achievement" and "Annual Impact."

The selection criteria for the list included various international standards such as the number of quality publications, the impact of the journals in which these publications appear, the number of patents, citation count, h-index, hm-index, the number of articles, the number of cited articles, and the impact of the publishing journals. In the "Lifetime Achievement" category, three of our faculty members were recognized, while six were acknowledged in the "Annual Impact" category.

 

Faculty members ranked in the "Lifetime Achievement" category are as follows:

Prof. Mert Erkan, Department of Surgical Sciences, School of Medicine.

Prof. Murat Baş, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Health Sciences.

Prof. Murat Baş, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Health Sciences.

Prof. Abdurrahman Coşkun, Department of Medical Biochemistry, School of Medicine.

Prof. Mustafa Serteser, Department of Medical Biochemistry, School of Medicine.
