Pediatric Health and Diseases

The Department of Pediatric Health and Diseases at the School of Medicine at Acıbadem University provides a wide range of services to children aged from 0-18 years.

In addition to monitoring the child and adolescent health, children who are unwell benefit from inpatient and outpatient diagnostics and treatment services.

The specialist physicians of the department work in harmony and collaboration for patients who require a multidisciplinary approach. The department consists of pediatric endocrinology, pediatric hematology-oncology, pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric allergy-immunology, pediatric cardiology, pediatric infections, pediatric intensive care, pediatric genetics, social pediatrics and neonatal branches of science.

Several staff members of the Hematology-Oncology branch also work in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. In addition to diagnostics and treatment services by a multitude of professors, associate professors, and lecturers, students of the School of Medicine are taught theoretical and practical lessons. The department provides Pediatric Health and Diseases specialist education and is committed to training Pediatric specialists.
