Purpose
A Look Into Science – ALIS Congress is an international student congress organized by the students of the School of Medicine at Acıbadem University. The main goal of ALIS is to address current developments in medicine and health sciences by:
Increasing scientific awareness,
Encouraging academic knowledge sharing,
Bringing together future physicians and researchers with leading experts in the field.
The congress aims to provide participants with new perspectives, increase their access to scientific knowledge, and contribute to their academic development. It also offers the opportunity to interact directly with the scientific community.
With the support of its sponsors, ALIS aims to be an accessible and inclusive event for everyone.
Scope
ALIS is a traditional medical and health sciences congress organized by Acıbadem University students and shaped each year around a specific main theme. Within the scope of the congress:
Thematic sessions with national and international speakers,
Inspiring talks (“Inspiration Talks”, “Social Talks”),
Nearly 50 workshops on science, art, and medicine,
Oral presentations where participants present their own projects
are included.
Oral presentations are evaluated by an academic jury from different universities and awarded based on their scientific merit.
Participant Profile: Medical students, PhD students, resident physicians, and faculty members from Turkey and abroad.
Theme: 2025
The main theme for 2025 is: “Genomics: From Sequence to Solution.”
Within this theme, the congress explores the journey of genomic science from fundamental research to clinical applications, within the framework of “The Development of Bench-to-Bedside Medicine.”
