In the background of the system, a tool is running that keeps the activity progress of the students and writes it to the report. However, since the operation of this tool will slow down the system if it works momentarily, it only works at certain time intervals during the day when the system operations are at low intensity. For this reason, students may have to wait for a period of up to 1 week in order to see the completed statement after completing their activities. During the distance education period, it may be take longer time.

As a completion criterion, it is enough to do what is asked from you once. In the homework, if the file you uploaded appears where you uploaded the file, your homework has been uploaded.

You can access up-to-date information about exam dates and semester classes from announcements link on UZEM website.

While answering the questions, be sure to mark the field of the courses you took the exam in the optical form. You must take the exam in the class assigned to you.

What should I pay attention to in online exams?

Online exams are administered via Acıbadem Exam Automation System (ASOS). Since e-mails containing ASOS exam information are sent to your student e-mail address with the extension of your name.surname@live.acibadem.edu.tr, this account must be actively used. Carefully read the documents containing the exam rules. Since the pre-exam rule screen contains different information for each exam, it is recommended that you read it carefully. We would like to remind you that your exam objections will not be accepted due to the problems you experience because you do not comply with the rules.

You can appeal to the faculty/school you are affiliated with with a written petition within seven working days after your exam grade is announced. You can find a sample of the petition under the forms section of the UZEM website.

Grade entries are made by the instructors of the courses and grade entries are completed within ten days after the exam date. If you cannot see the grade of the course you took the exam in the student automation system even after this period has expired, you can reach the responsible lecturer of the course.

Apply with a petition to the faculty or vocational school of which you are a student, within one week following the exam date. Applications made outside of this period will not be considered. The faculty decision is taken about the students whose excuse petition is accepted and the results are sent to the UZEM directorate. UZEM directorate organizes the date and place of the make-up exam and announces it to the students who will take the exam.

The passing grade of the courses is 50. The midterm exam grade has a effect of 40% and the final exam grade has a effect of 60% on overall course grade.

Today, with the rapid progress of technology, many innovations have occurred in the education sector following the change that started in all sectors. Perhaps one of the most important of these innovations was online education. Internet and computer come to mind when online education is mentioned. Online education is a type of education where the student and the instructor are not physically in the same environment.

The hybrid education model, also called blended education, means the application of the online education model and the face-to-face education model together.

Hybrid (blended) education has been implemented in our university in the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. In hybrid education, some practical lessons are conducted face-to-face, while theoretical lessons are carried out by distance and online methods.
