The Campus Cup, which was organized by Marmaris International Yacht Club (MIYC) and Turkish Sailing Federation (TYF) under the main sponsorship of Nurolbank, was held between 15-17 March 2024 in order to introduce university sailors to the sea and to connect those who meet with each other.In the Campus Cup, where 18 teams from 13 different universities were registered and more than 200 athletes took part, the teams competed in IRC 1, IRC 2 and IRC 3 classes.
Our Maritime and Sailing Club students, who represent our university in the races, won the 2nd place in the IRC3 class by struggling to fill their sails with the wind in Marmaris Bay and enter the rank. The second place trophy, which was won at the end of the three-day races, was presented to our students at the award ceremony held in the garden of Marmaris International Yacht Club with the participation of many guests.
