Our faculty member's research project received support from TUBITAK

Assist. Prof. Sinem Öktem Okullu, a faculty member in the Department of Medical Microbiology at our Medical School, has been involved as a researcher in a project titled "Development of an OMV-Based H. Pylori Vaccine Prototype" led by Prof. Ayça Sayı Yazgan from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Istanbul Technical University, and for which the Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center (IBG) serves as the research program's management organization. This project was granted support under TUBITAK 1004 - Center of Excellence Support Program.

The project is being carried out under the Preservation and Treatment National Platform led by the Izmir Biotechnology and Genome Center (IBG), which includes many universities and industrial organizations including our University as well as Istanbul Technical University, Dokuz Eylul University, Ege University, Selcuk University, Atabay Kimya Trade Inc. and Petroyağ ve Kimyasalları Trade Inc.
