The event titled "Artificial Intelligence Workshop in Neuroscience" organized by the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of our University on January 24 was held with the participation of 75 people as a hybrid. In the event that was held to bring together clinicians, data scientists, and basic scientists in order to discuss the studies in the field of neuroscience and the role of data science, the speakers presented their expectations from data science by talking about their own studies.
In the workshop where our Vice Rector Prof. Guldal Suyen made her opening speech, Prof. Ata Akın from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences; Prof. Sinem Burcu Erdogan from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences; Prof. Hande Argunsah from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; Prof. Ugur Uygunoglu from the Faculty of Medicine of Istanbul University Cerrahpasa; Prof. Sibel Aylin Ugur Iseri from the Institute of Experimental Medicine of Istanbul University, Aziz Sancar; Prof. Gunet Eroglu from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of Isik University; Prof. Ugur Bilge and Dr. Emre Yorgancı from the Faculty of Medicine of Karadeniz Technical University; Prof. Ugur Bilge from the Faculty of Medicine of Eskisehir Osmangazi University and Prof. Yorggeri from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences discussed the topics such as “Neuroscience, Artificial Intelligence, and in Artificial Intelligence in Neuroscience” at the end of the event, ideas were evaluated for applications such as TUSTA, ATK and other organizations.
