The “Simulation and Advanced Technology Symposium”, which was organized for the fifth time this year in cooperation with ACUMSA Club, ACUTBAT Club and CASE (Clinical Simulation and Advanced Endoscopic-Robotic Surgery Center), took place on 6-7 January.
The event, which was held with the aim of sharing the vision of equal opportunities in education and the possibilities of case with the students of the Faculty of Medicine in different cities of Turkey, started with the opening speeches of our Vice Rector Prof. İrfan Güney and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Nadi Bakırcı.
At the symposium, which included Robotic Surgery, Trauma Management, Virtual Patient Workshops and Basic Skills Trainings, CASE Assistant Director Dr. Dilek Kitapçıoğlu made her presentation on "Overview of Simulation". Students from 39 different universities had the opportunity to experience CASE in the symposium, which was held with the participation of 105 people.
SITS is a symposium established and conducted by students of Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine in order to share the opportunities of the CASE center with our future colleagues and to bring together students from different medical faculties of Turkey every year. As every year, our university students from 1st to 6th grade of the Faculty of Medicine took part in the event held this year.
