Our Vision
To sustain a learner centered education policy focused on continuous learning and development, and to serve as a model in educating creative professionals who think critically, question knowledge, generate ideas, conduct research, effectively utilize technology, keep pace with the information age, act with a strong sense of teamwork, adhere to ethical values, and demonstrate respect for people and the environment through the content developed and the instructional methods employed in distance education.
Our Mission
Our mission is to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of distance teaching and learning activities conducted at the University, to support academic courses through e-learning technologies, and to manage and implement research, development, planning, and application processes related to distance education. In this context, the Center provides technical support for the distance education system; develops solutions, offers consultancy services, and coordinates processes for establishing distance education systems and infrastructure when required by different academic units, or for delivering distance education services by utilizing the University’s existing infrastructure. Furthermore, it aims to develop distance education–based courses and programs at the associate, undergraduate, and graduate levels, to ensure their planning, coordination, and implementation, and to maintain and manage the technological infrastructure on which distance education is delivered.
