TRANSLATIONAL MEDICINE DOCTORAL PROGRAM	Instate*: 4 Foreign: 1	To fulfill the application requirements of Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University Rules and Regulations Governing Graduate Studies. For those who are applying with a B.S degree:  Applicants holding a B.S. degree in Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Genetics and Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Medical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Biology, Biology must certify that they can graduate by the registration period. Individuals whose transcript does not have an equivalence in graduate courses are required to take the graduate courses of the Translational Medicine program. For those who are applying with an M.S. degree;  All applicants are required to have an M.S. degree in Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Genetics and Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Medical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Biology, Biology, Molecular and Translational Medicine, Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, Biological Data Science (Applicants from other backgrounds not listed above will be considered for admissions should they fulfill required competency for the program). Individuals whose transcript does not have an equivalence in graduate courses of the masters program can be required take the graduate courses without earning credit for the fulfillment of the requirements of the doctoral program.

Language Proficiency

For those who are applying with a B.S degree: - Among the foreign language exams accepted by the Higher Education Council; - TOEFL-IBT: Minimum score of 84 points; - YDS / ÜDS / KPDS / YÖKDİL: Minimum score of 70 points.

For those who are applying with an M.S. degree: - Among the foreign language exams accepted by the Higher Education Council; - TOEFL-IBT: Minimum score of 78 points; - YDS / ÜDS / KPDS / YÖKDİL: Minimum score of 65 points.

Applicants without an available test score as above are required to score a minimum grade of 65 at Foreign Language Proficiency Test which is conducted by Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University Department of Foreign Languages.

Scientific Competence

To obtain at least a valid score from one of the following exams for graduate education (results must be valid until the application date):

For those who are applying with a B.S degree: - B.S. graduation CGPA must be at least 3.00/4.00 - ALES (Akademik Personel ve Lisansüstü Eğitimi Giriş Sınavı - Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Examination) quantitative score must be at least 80 - Applicants who are not Turkish citizens may provide GRE (at least 152) or GMAT (at least 590) scores instead of ALES.

For those who are applying with an M.S. degree: - ALES (Akademik Personel ve Lisansüstü Eğitimi Giriş Sınavı - Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Examination) quantitative score must be at least 60 - Applicants who are not Turkish citizens may provide GRE (at least 150) or GMAT (at least 465) scores instead of ALES.

ALES is not required for graduates of doctorate / proficiency in art / specialty in medicine / specialty in dentistry / specialty in veterinary medicine / specialty in pharmacy. 65 points determined by the Senate of Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University, regardless of the type or field of expertise, are taken into consideration.

Required Documents for Application to the Program:

• Application form
• Original copy (transcript) showing the undergraduate / graduate courses and grades received from the Higher Education Institutions they graduated from
• Original(s) of Undergraduate / Postgraduate Diploma(s) or Temporary Graduation Certificate (Certified photocopy will be made during the registration). (The equivalence of diplomas received from foreign countries must be approved by the Higher Education Council).
• Statement of Purpose
• CV
• Two reference letters (Must be submitted to the head of the Department in a sealed envelope or via email at Ugur.Ozbek@acibadem.edu.tr directly and signed by the referee. Registration will not be accepted if reference letters are not submitted by the Interview Exam
• Photocopy of National Identity Card / Passport
• ALES (Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam) result document
• Foreign Language Proficiency Certificate (Applicants without a valid test score should state during the online Application that they will be taking the Foreign Language Proficiency Test which is conducted by Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University according to the Univesrsity calender)
• A passport photo
• Military document for male applicants
