The 'physiotherapy' program opened within the scope of Acıbadem University Vocational School of Health Services is a 2-year associate degree program prepared for this purpose. According to the specialist physician's diagnosis and treatment program; this program trains highly competent, knowledge-equipped Physiotherapy technicians who will assist in providing the necessary physical therapy and rehabilitation program to individuals injured for any reason under the supervision of a physiotherapist. Physiotherapy technicians are healthcare personnel who help patients provide safe, effective and quality health services through physical therapy and exercise applications under the supervision of a specialist physician and physiotherapist.
The need for physical therapy and rehabilitation services increases after any injury that causes movement disorders to prevent functional disorders from becoming permanent and to increase the person's quality of life. The success of treatments in this field, is dependent that the application is carried out by well-trained auxiliary health personnel, "Physiotherapy Technicians", under the coordination and supervision of a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist physician.
