About Süyen Lab

Süyen Lab was founded by Prof. Dr. Güldal Süyen and brings together researchers from diverse disciplines, including medicine, engineering, veterinary medicine, and biology.

Led by Prof. Dr. Süyen, the research team focuses primarily on neurological diseases, with particular emphasis on epilepsy and autism. In the field of epilepsy, the laboratory aims to contribute to biomarker discovery and the development of new treatment approaches. To achieve these goals, the team conducts behavioral studies alongside research utilizing advanced technologies such as Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR).

In addition to their research activities, Prof. Dr. Süyen and her team mentor enthusiastic medical students and actively support young researchers with an interest in the field of neurophysiology.
