Women's Health and Rights Congress II by ACUMSA

On January 6, 2023, Acıbadem University hosted the 2nd Women's Health and Rights Congress, organized by the Acıbadem University Medical Students' Association (ACUMSA). The congress delved into a variety of significant topics, including "A Qualitative Research on HPV Awareness Among University Students", "Psychological Aspects and Patient Care in Breast and Gynecological Cancers", "Prevention and Management of Sexually Transmitted Infections", "The Medicalization of Body and Emotions in Women's Health", "Addressing Violence Against Women in Romantic Relationships", and "Exploring Women's Contributions to Literature and Feminist Literary Movements". The event, graced by expert speakers in these areas, emphasized women's health issues and their rights within the healthcare sector. With 147 participants, the congress concluded successfully after sessions by Peer and Social Speakers.
