To help faculty members understand the generation gap with their students and to provide insight on the psychological factors to consider and possible solutions when implementing teaching methods, the Vocational School of Health Services organized an event titled 'Understanding the Generation Z' on April 28, 2023.
The event featured expert clinical psychologist Derya Yalçınkaya as a speaker, who discussed the topics of "The Generation Z", "Generational Differences", and "Generational Differences in Education". Yalçınkaya emphasized the importance of seeing those who are not like us through their realities, not our own judgments.
The event provided various communication techniques and important points to consider when implementing teaching methods and concluded with an interactive Q&A session."
