On May 29, 2025, the Faculty of Health Sciences at our university hosted the event titled “Nursing Abroad: Experience Sharing”, organized by the Social and Scientific Events Committee. The event provided students with valuable insights into international healthcare systems.
During the event, nurse managers actively working in Bulgaria, Germany, and the United Kingdom shared their knowledge and experiences with participants. They discussed various aspects of the nursing profession in their respective countries, including education processes, working conditions, career opportunities, and patient care standards.
Speakers included Müjgan Hasan (Acıbadem City Clinic, Sofia), Feyza Büşra Mısır (Universitätsklinikum Ruppin, Brandenburg), and Fatma Özgür (Hellesdon Hospital, Norfolk). They offered in-depth information about the healthcare systems in which they work. Feyza Büşra Mısır and Fatma Özgür also emphasized how the education they received in the Acıbadem University Nursing Undergraduate Program contributed to their professional adaptation abroad.
A total of 59 students attended the event, gaining the opportunity to explore the global dimensions of nursing. The interactive Q&A sessions fostered engaging dialogue between students and speakers, creating a dynamic learning environment.
