Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Biochemistry faculty member Prof. Muhittin A. Serdar has been elected President of the Turkish Biochemical Society.

The Turkish Biochemical Society represents our country on international platforms, including the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC), the European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (EFLM), the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS), the Balkan Clinical Laboratory Federation (BCLF), and the International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB). The Society also publishes the Turkish Journal of Biochemistry, which is indexed in SCIE.
