Students from the Nursing Department at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University Faculty of Health Sciences have launched a powerful awareness project to shed light on the issues of child abuse and child sexual exploitation.
As part of the Community Sensitivity Project course and in collaboration with the IMDAT/Association for the Prevention and Rehabilitation of Violence, the podcast series titled “From Silence to Trust: Safe Circles Around Children” was broadcast between December 7–14, 2024.
This special podcast series, which examines the serious societal issue of child abuse and sexual exploitation from various perspectives, quickly reached 189 listeners. Published on Spotify, the episodes not only shared expert insights with the public but also marked an important step in raising societal awareness.

The podcast was actively produced by a team of Nursing Department students called the Safe Circle Team. These students conducted one-on-one interviews with the guests and shaped the content in a way that contributes meaningfully to public consciousness.
