The Joint Twinning Policy Paper of the GEMSTONE Project Has Been Published

Under the coordination of the GEMSTONE Project, supported by Horizon Europe and carried out by our University, a joint policy paper and complementary information notes on the Twinning calls within the Horizon Europe WIDERA Work Programme—jointly prepared by eight sister Twinning projects from three Widening countries—have been published with open access.

The document compiles inter-project evidence and case studies aimed at ensuring the continuation and strengthening of Twinning calls under the upcoming EU Research and Innovation Framework Programme (FP10) and the related WIDERA Work Programmes. While highlighting the measurable impacts of the Twinning instrument on institutional capacity, scientific excellence, and the integration of the European Research Area, it also emphasizes the mutual benefits for project partners.
