Department of Nursing Participated in the 9th International and 20th National Nursing Congress

Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University took part in the 9th International and 20th National Nursing Congress, held between 14–16 May 2026 in collaboration with the Turkish Nurses Association and Atılım University, with student representation.

Within the scope of the congress, senior Nursing Department student Sıla Azra Yaylacı successfully presented her research as an oral presentation under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Sevim Şen Olgay and Prof. Dr. Esra Uğur. The congress provided a scientific platform where research findings were shared with participants, and students and academics had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience with colleagues from different institutions.

Important topics such as determinants of health policies, the role of nurses in shaping health policies, international nurse mobility, and current issues in the nursing profession were discussed. Through scientific sessions, up-to-date approaches in nursing education, research, and practice were shared with participants.

The congress, attended by students and faculty members from Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University School of Nursing, was completed successfully, contributing to the enhancement of the university’s scientific visibility, supporting student research, and strengthening national and international scientific collaborations in the field of nursing.
