Academic Delegation from Acıbadem University School of Nursing Visits Medical University of Varna

The School of Nursing of Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University carried out an academic visit to the Medical University of Varna, Bulgaria, between 19 and 22 May 2026 as part of its efforts to develop sustainable collaboration mechanisms in the fields of education, research, and internationalization.

The visit was conducted upon the invitation of the Medical University of Varna and was attended by Prof. Dr. Esra Uğur and Assist. Prof. Ayşen Pamir Aksoy on behalf of the School of Nursing of Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University.

During the visit, meetings were held to discuss the enhancement of existing relations between the two universities. Topics including nursing education, research activities, student and faculty mobility, and opportunities for international projects were addressed. Within the framework of mutual exchange of knowledge and experience, potential areas for collaboration in educational processes, academic structures, and research activities were explored.

The discussions also focused on possible collaborations regarding joint scientific studies, the development of international projects, and the promotion of academic exchange programs. Both institutions exchanged views on initiatives that would contribute to strengthening sustainable academic relations.

The visit was completed successfully and proved to be highly productive in laying the foundation for future collaborations between Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University and the Medical University of Varna in the areas of education, research, and internationalization.
