Established in 2017, the Acıbadem University Biodesign Center is a design center that operates with a clinical innovation approach to improve the efficiency of diagnosis, treatment, and care processes.
Our center adopts a working model that targets outputs in R&D, product development, university-industry collaboration, and education. We develop solution proposals by combining projects originating from the needs and ideas of academia, the healthcare industry, and the manufacturing industry with various engineering and design disciplines.
We provide services to academics, healthcare entrepreneurs, companies, and students. Within the scope of our services, we offer end-to-end support for your project, including:
- Identifying appropriate research funding,
- Establishing the necessary expert network,
- Regulatory consultancy,
- Product-user relationship analysis,
- Design and prototyping,
- Intellectual property rights acquisition,
- Commercialization support.
- Our center consists of a Design Studio and a Prototyping Workshop.

In the Biodesign Workshop, the following services are provided:
- Model, prototype, and MVP production
- 3D FDM printing
- 3D SLA printing

- Use of mechanical tools
