A physiotherapist is a health professional who has gained the ability to apply different evaluation and treatment techniques in case of all kinds of injuries that cause movement disorders, in case of illness and old age, in the presence of pain and functional disorders and aims to improve health and quality of life. Especially in developed countries, in recent years, health promoting and disease prevention roles have been added to the therapeutic roles of physiotherapists with preventive physiotherapy and public health approaches.

It is aimed that the specialist physiotherapists trained with this program will be expert health professionals who have the knowledge and skills to meet the increasing demand for physiotherapy services, who can access and interpret information in the light of current research, transfer it to physiotherapy and rehabilitation services, contribute to improving the health of the society, and provide evidence-based services.
