2018 – 2019 ACADEMIC YEAR FALL SEMESTER APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

For 2018 – 2019 Academic Year’s Fall Semester, we will accept student applications for our University’s Health Sciences Institute’s ‘Medical Biotechnology Non-thesis Graduate Program’ in accordance with “Acibadem University Graduate Education, Training and Examination Guidelines”.

 Requires Graduate or Undergraduate degree (4 yrs.) from one of the following departments/faculties: Biochemistry, Biology, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biosystem Engineering, Biotechnology and Molecular Biology, Genetics and Bioinformatics, Genetics and Bioengineering, Chemistry-Biology Engineering, Engineering and Natural Science, Computational Science and Engineering, Dentistry, Pharmaceutics, Physics, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Medical Biology, Medicine, Medical Engineering and Veterinary; applicants will be able to apply either by submitting transcript or by documenting proof of completion until enrollment date.
Program description Course hours will be scheduled compatibly with applicants’ common convenience.
Tuition 15.000 TL (Program fee) (For this term, students, who are accepted to this program, will receive full loan for their total tuition)
4.000 USD (Foreign Student Fee)

 

Language Proficiency

Accepted tests, which are accreditted by YOK and required minimum grades are as follows: TOEFL IBT – Min. 60 points YDS (Foreign Language Proficiency Test), UDS (Inter-university Council Foreign Language Test), KPDS (Civil Servant Foreign Language Test) or YOKDIL (Higher Education Council Foreign Language Test) – Min. 50 points

Applicants, who do not possess foreign language document, are required to have scored a minimum grade of 50 at Foreign Language Proficiency Test which is conducted by Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University Foreign Languages Department.

Scientific Proficiency

ALES (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Admission Test) result is NOT required for Non-thesis Graduate Programs.

Documents required for program application

• Application Form

• Original of the undergraduate/graduate degree transcript earned from a higher education institution

• Original of the undergraduate/graduate diploma or temporary graduation certificate (A certified copy will be produced during admission) Diplomas from foreign country universities should be approved by YOK.

• A letter of intent indicating applicant’s purpose of interest in Graduate/Postgraduate Education

• Curriculum Vitae

• Two Reference Letters (in closed envelope)

• 1 photograph

• Copy of Identification

• Foreign Language Proficiency Document (Graduate applicants, who do not possess foreign language proficiency document, should register for English Proficiency Test during pre-admission at Student Services Office; aforementioned test will be conducted by Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University Foreign Languages Department on the date shown in Academic Calendar)

• Military Service Document for Male Applicants

• Interview results will be posted in the notifications section of our University’s website.
