Medical Microbiology is a science of identifying microorganisms that cause disease in humans. Structure and classification, reproductive characteristics, pathogenic mechanisms, diagnostic methods and antimicrobial agents of the microorganisms are the main areas of study. The aim of the microbiology doctoral program is teaching the candidates in the field of microbiology at international standards with the latest technology and scientific research methods.
In the light of contemporary and universal values, the candidates will gain professionalism in Medical Microbiology, performing profession with self-confidence, developing themselves scientifically and contributing to science under the innovation, while adopting ethical rules as a principle.
