Medical Biotechnology is a graduate program dedicated to provide education and research opportunities in life sciences for the development of innovative technologies to improve human health. The program covers subjects like recombinant DNA technology, protein engineering, synthetic biology, tissue engineering, drug and vaccine development, rapid diagnostics, personalized medicine and gene therapy. Students have the opportunity to work with highly experienced researchers from a wide area of biotechnology, in laboratories equipped with elaborate modern instruments and state of art infrastructure. We give importance to develop collaborative projects with industry reinforced by national grant programs. All students with Turkish citizenship, accepted in this program, receive full education scholarship. Most of the students are additionally supported by research grants. The students are expected to spend full time in the university for their education and research. Part-time study is not accepted for this program.
