Since education should be a lifelong process, the Acıbadem University Continuous Education and Development Center (ASEGEM) was established in 2008 with the aim of preparing and implementing widespread education programs required in the information society.

With the rapid changes in business life, the necessity to acquire knowledge about a new concept or topic almost every day and to apply this knowledge in a competitive environment arises. Continuous self-directed learning is the foundation of competence, effectiveness, and efficiency.

The training programs planned within ASEGEM are grouped under titles such as "Healthy and Happy Life," "Academic Development," and "Personal and Professional Development," considering factors such as their purpose, structure, and target audience. These programs are aimed not only at university students but also at all participants in the workforce, whether they are currently employed or not, from different educational backgrounds. Thus, ASEGEM contributes to Acıbadem University's goal of reaching and serving all segments of society.

Leveraging the experience and dynamism of Acıbadem University and the Acıbadem Healthcare Group, ASEGEM aims to increase the capacity of the human resource developed through non-formal education and support its development.

Acıbadem Üniversitesi Sürekli Eğitim ve Gelişim Merkezi (ASEGEM); yönetmeliğinin 28 Ekim 2008 tarih ve 27038 sayılı Resmi Gazete'de yayımlanmasıyla kurulmuştur.
