Mobile health application HERA (Health Recording App), received 95.000 Canada dollar grant from Grand Challenges Canada Bold Ideas with Big Impact Fund, supported by the government of Canada. HERA project authors, coordinators and owners are Acıbadem University School of Medicine graduates Dr. Aral Sürmeli and Dr. Serim Hande Tarcan, project’s consultants are Assoc. Prof. Figen Demir from School of Medicine, Department of Public Health and Dean of Faculty of Engineering and head of Department of Medical Engineering Prof. Ata Akin.

''HERA: mHealth Innovation to Increase Vaccination and Prenatal Care Uptake of Refugee Women in Turkey'' is a mobile application which aims to increase the vaccination of refugee children in Turkey and prenatal care received by refugee pregnant women. Target groups for the project are pregnant women and children under 2 years of age. Project is carried out by MEDAK Association.
